As the Media accepts Kennedy's APPOINTMENT and rejects Palin they tip their hand as the biased, elitist scum bags I always felt they were.

Now you are going to have to make up your mind .... you think Congresspeople as a whole are ignorant and impotent and aren't able to do much of anything good .... or Caroline Kennedy is inexperienced, untested and not able to do much of anything good. I don't see what the problem is here. She's perfect for the job. :)
I don't that of most in Congress. The SYSTEM that they work in compels them in ways that are not in our best interests necessarily...

I expect that Palin is more ignorant that Kennedy which would make her the better Senator. What was it, six colleges to get the degree. Somebody's daddy was pretty tolerant.
Haven't heard too much about Kennedy's knocked up high school daughter and the meth lab mother in law. But of course those Kennedy's were always good at hiding shit.

Careful with those labels. In a recent Daily Kos poll, the "lefties" were split about 50/50 on whether they want to see Caroline Kennedy in the Senate.
As a lefty myself, I do not want to have know nothings of any stripe, be they elites OR working class, as our "leaders."
That's how we got into this mess.
On the positive side- Kennedy is probably too rich to be corrupted.
....unlike so many others on both sides of the political aisle.

There is no Left and Right anymore. These groups appeared out of the thin air created by cheap Oil, cheap oil, cheap gas, and sparse world population.
That environment does not exist.
Still, he Left has done more damage than the Right on every issue with the GLARING exception of the environment.
