Is it me? Am I the only guy wondering how a person that:
- Never held a REAL job.
- Never repaid a student loan.
- Never applied for a mortgage, nor made a mortgage payment with hard earned income.
- Did not have to sweat getting into the college of their choice.
- Never made payroll.
- Never started a business.
- Did not serve in the military.
- Did not teach or work in academia.
- ALWAYS had domestic servants.
- NEVER had to APPLY for a job.

Caroline Kennedy is just another member of the lucky sperm club (albeit with a rather famous name), and she can't even string a sentence together without saying "you know" every 5th word. After lambasting GWB for the past 8 years over his painful syntax exactly why is this pearls and loafers, silver spoon fed, Trust Fund brat getting a pass? Is this what our military men and woman are FIGHTING and DIEING for???!!!

These qualifications are almost identical to those of George W. Bush.
Maybe we should nominate her for President in 2012.
This just shows the extreme dis-connection from reality of US groupthink. It also shows up in the fact that not a single financial criminal has been indicted in the financial melt-down except Madoff. And he indicted himself.
This US disconnection from reality is also illustrated by the fact that in the last 2 years of Presidential campaigning, peak oil was never publicly discussed- or even mentioned.

I am no GWB fan, but:
Bush was ELECTED a 2 term Governor of Texas. YES, his famous name helped him. And YES, he is part of another Silver Spoon political dynasty reaching back as far as the Kennedys...
BUT
He ran and the people elected him.
Otherwise, you are essentially correct.
If Kennedy had run last cycle and won, she would still have had no qualifications, but the people would have spoken.
