Best of luck. I'll follow your new blog as closely as I have followed this. We don't always agree but I always appreciate the perspective.
I'll be buying some vegetables this year. My tomatoes look terrible but I think it may be that the new compost is to acidic. I'm liming now and hope they have time to recover.kathyhttp://www.justincasebook.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-99704500378481622.post-88641214093467012882011-06-30T20:49:16.675-07:002011-06-30T20:49:16.675-07:00We have asparagus growing all over the place aroun...We have asparagus growing all over the place around me. Otherwise your going to be waiting for a year or two before you get the male portion.

I grow asparagus all over the place, it grows pretty much like a weed and keeps coming back. My family refers to it as mini-christmas trees.

PA weather was crazy rainy as well this year, so a bit late on planting, although its nice now. I'm trying broccoli for the 1st time this year, but doesn't look like broccoli at all yet--perhaps in a few more weeks.
-MeiyoAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-99704500378481622.post-36281747214134280352011-06-30T13:37:53.016-07:002011-06-30T13:37:53.016-07:00Not going anywhere... and I hope to have your comm...Not going anywhere... and I hope to have your commentary... my garden is doing well despite the lack of effort on my part due to being sick.

Harvested more cabbage and broccoli than we are likely to eat, tomatoes and peppers are doing well, as is corn (both sweet and field).
